How Chiropractic Care Eliminates Neck Pain | Chiropractor for Neck Pain in Greer, SC

Hello Dr. Chris Ehlich here from Ehlich Family Chiropractic in Greer, South Carolina. And today’s topic video is going to be your own neck pain.

So we’re going to talk about one of the primary causes of neck pain that we’ve seen over the last 32 years in practice, we also want to tell you and show you how we as chiropractors help people, a lot of people that suffer from neck pain.

One of the most common causes of neck pain is a condition called subluxation. And we talked about this in previous videos, but just to give you a little refresher about what that is, a subluxation is when the bones of the spine actually began to move. As you can see, this bone shifts out of alignment. And that can actually begin to pinch the nerve. And when it pinches that nerve, there are two types of fibers that it will actually affect one is a pain fiber, that can cause some neck pain, or some tightness, or it can be a function fiber, which could actually be causing the muscle to be weak. So the one of the ways that we address this, there’s three things that we do.

One common tool that we use is called a chiropractic adjustment. And the chiropractic adjustment is when we put a force into your spine, a specific into a specific vertebra in a specific direction. Now you can see here how this nerve is actually getting pinched, it’s irritated. And one of the things that we’re going to do is we’re going to put a force in there to adjust it. So we move that bone and that release the pressure off the nerve. And when you take pressure off the nerve, it can allow for healing, meaning less pain and or restoration of function, meaning the muscle begins to get its strength back in there.

Now, another thing that we’re going to recommend for you is we’re going to recommend some postural exercises for you to do to help strengthen the weak muscles in the spine, and to help you hold a better posture and your adjustment better. Another thing is we want to teach you how to work on your bad habits, things that cause the subluxations so you don’t get them as frequently.

Also, we’re going to do an exam and X rays and a history on you to determine what your problem is and what the single best solution is and the best way to treat it for you. So make sure that you hit Like and comment below and make sure you subscribe also, so you can see past videos that we’ve had future videos that we’re going to do.
